• CCBD: The Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD) promotes the education and welfare of children and youth with behavioral and emotional disorders. Members receive Behavioral Disorders, Beyond Behavior magazine, and the CCBD Newsletter.  CCCBD partners with the Colorado Department of Education every year on the Affective Needs conference, focusing on issues of behavior, emotion and Autism. Members receive discounted registration to the conference. They are also eligible for up to $1000 in scholarships and grants each year from the CCBD Foundation.

• DCDT: The Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT) focuses on the career development of individuals with disabilities and/or who are gifted and their transition from school to adult life. Members receive Career Development for Exceptional Individuals and the DCDT Network newsletter.

• TED: Teacher Educator Division of the Council of Exceptional Children is a diverse community of professionals who lead and support teacher education on behalf of students with exceptional needs and their families.

​

• DEC: The Division for Early Childhood was started in 1973 by a group of volunteers who cared deeply about the development of young children with special needs. DEC is one of seventeen divisions of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), the largest professional organization dedicated to improving the educational success of individuals with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.
